New ebook covers

I have recently had to face up to something that I have suspected for a while, but been overly-optimistically denying to myself. For all my self pub ebooks so far, I have been doing my own cover designs (usually in Serif’s excellent DrawPlus). In the last few weeks though, I have finally admitted to myself that they are all a bit too homemade and amateurish. I have had great fun doing all of them, but I simply do not have the art and design skills to really do justice to them. Instead, I have turned to a professional – the excellent RLSather – who has provided these superb new designs. Continue reading

The Lost Monuments Archive

How we will (eventually) beat online piracy

Once again, I need to start this post by apologising for the wait. The good news is that the main cause of my recent slow down is now behind me. I have finished “The Lost Libraries Archive” and – while there are still some revisions to come – I’m aiming to have it up on Amazon and Wattpad relatively soon. (Unfortunately, I may soon be going back to square 1 on my posting speed as I am beginning a new project, the first novel of a new series, side by side with the editing. My writing update (The Erik Midgard Case Files Volume 2)

I have just settled on the title of the second Erik Midgard book. The writing is going well and “The Lost Libraries Archive” will hopefully be available in a few months. The ebook tags are going to be exactly the same as Book 1; science fiction, time travel, detective and murder mystery. To celebrate the sequel, I am going to be posting all the chapters of the first installment of Erik’s saga “The Time Traveller’s Ball” on Wattpad here for online enjoyment. I hope you all like it and as always I hope its as fun to read as it was to write. I will also be unveiling the cover of “The Lost Libraries Archive” here fairly soon.
